sidewindows glue

New member
since my ty had a full body off resto we found out the rear windows/glass was glued in with the stuff that remains a bit flexible. unlike the glue that is used on the front windshield.

is there a reason for this and what should we use?

It could be beta tape. I would just use urethane. Make sure you prep the new paint area so it sticks

3M makes it. Comes in a tube and shoot it out with a gun.

If I remember correctly Its called BEDDING and GLAZING compound. Or look for a product in the 3M line for use with GLAZING.

I just used some of it.
