Bad Ass Black Trucks

So I don't know why the idea keeps getting more appealing to me since my Ty is FAR from completion, but swapping a 4.3 syty turbo into the 4th gen I am currently driving sounds like a good idea.
The Camaro has 155k miles on the clock, the 3.4 had a blown head gasket at 135k but the darn thing keeps moving along, although with more and more unhealthy sounds. For example the lifters have been very noisy for about a year now.
Right now, I hate the car. It is slow, has an open differential, automatic and deteriorating appearance make me want to part it out when the motor lets go. But I have a 4.3 syty long block, LB4 heads and stock turbo sitting in the garage. The Ty block has 100k of boosted life so it needs freshened, but I don't think the swap would be that bad and the car might be fun again. I also like a "sleeper".
The tranny in the camaro would bolt right up. I would run the PCM that is in the car, V-6 MAP based and better ignition than a SYTY being waste spark. 4L60E would be under control of the PCM and all the gauges should work. I don't know if the 3.4L has a crank position sensor, but that could be added easily enough. I wonder how the Ty Convertor would behave in a Camaro?
Might have to figure out some packaging as the SyTy intake manifold would probably be too tall to fit under the hood. Intercooling would be another challenge but would be do-able for sure.
Downsides:
-Would have to fix up a lot of little things on the car. I can live with some of the quirks but the Drivers side door skin has poped off and every fix I have tried never works. Getting a whole new door would require paint. Car is teal now and paint is faded anyways... just wouldn't want to dump a ton of money into paint.
-Would HAVE to get a limited slip differential and a TA girdle.
-The tranny has 155k miles on it too and didn't receive much attention from the previous owner. Don't know how much longer it would last.
-How much more would it cost to get a crate LS motor?
What do you guys think?
