I went on a tour @ B&M,they also use used torque converter parts.

If you can get a smaller diameter torque converter than say a 9/11 & can hold the power,that will be a better set-up.

So will a multidisc be better than a singe large disc for holding power.

I don't think they are making anything up in that article. Not to say for some a 9/11 type may work just fine. It isn't some high tech solution though.

They do in the diesel world, 3 disc can hold somewhere around a 1000 ft/lb and the five disk is over 2k i believe.
