Shift knob with on/off switch

Looking for a replacement shift knob that has an integrated on/off switch. I remember seeing last year stout74 having made a few of these. Sent him a PM about a week ago with no response yet. A couple searches online have turned up empty. Not sure if there is another source out there making these?

You can try hitting the Corvette forums, C4 used the same shifter, but I have no personally seen anything else out there to replace the stock knob.

I looked at one I have apart Dave as I thought of somehow modifying the detent button. Not a lot of room there and I don't feel like taking a chance of screwing up my button or interfering with the detent operation.

Sorry 0966Sy, Stout74 forwarded your pm to me and I was suppose to get back to you, been very busy and it slipped my mind. Our knob has a TCI Trans brake switch (it is a momentary switch, not an on/off switch). These knobs are a lot of work to make, not sure I could get them done by mid Feb. like you want. It would also be best if we could get a few other people interested so we could manufacture a small run to make them more cost effective.

Also if I remember, there was a request for a billet knob without a button, maybe we could run some of these at the same time.

Oh that's great news, I remember it was a very fine looking piece. Let me ask what's most important to me to take advantage of one. I'm looking for one that can be used with a on/off switch. I'm in for 2 possibly 3 if that's what it takes to make it happen. Basically looking to get something set up before a race march 1-2. If there not finished by then no big deal. I can rig up something temporary. So if the on/off switch can be done lets talk quantity and pricing. Thanks!
