Several parts

Consolidating some f/s threads I have so everything is in one place (and adding some more stuff). All prices are including shipping to continental 48 states. As always, it is money in the Paypal that buys the part, not calling dibs. Once you pay, you can say on here that you did so everyone else knows the part is sold (I'll also mark it sold). Paypal address is ambric@gmail.com

Driver's side quarter behind door - In decent shape. No cracks or issues. $110
Passenger's side quarter behind door - In decent shape. No cracks or issues. $110 sols
Rear arch (eyebrow) - In decent shape. No cracks or issues. $60 sold
Powermaster 140A alternator - Used for less than 4k miles. Works great. $110
Ty transfer case - 128k miles, regular service. Works great $125 + shipping (shipping not included) sold
Stock upper intake - in great shape. $130
Flow-matched 50 lb injectors - used less than 1000 miles. $125
Stock transmission - $1400 rebuild less than 4k miles ago. Works great. $500 (shipping not included)
Turbo blanket - Looks new. Not sure what it was supposed to fit (looks smaller like stock turbo). Also a fair amount of wrap. $40 sold
ECU, ostrich, Moates ALDL cable for code 59 - Works great. $200 sold
Momo steering wheel - Only used for a short while. In good shape. I've had a few people call dibs, but nobody sent any money. $70 sold
ATR headers - with notch for angled plugs (eg. Brodix heads), but were on Vortec heads. $550 sold

Re: Several parts

Got the paypal for it at 9:28 last night and you posted at 11:31.
Either way, I put at the beginning of the ad that "dibs" means less than money. I tried the dibs thing with my first couple ads and it was a real hassle since several people who posted dibs wouldn't respond to my messages when I asked them to pay. Meanwhile, other potential buyers with money in hand were waiting. Then, after a couple days of chasing the "dibs caller", I'd give the ultimatum (i.e. you have 24 hours to respond or I'm going to the next person) After 24 hours, I'd go to the next guy - who by that time may have lost interest (and may or may not respond)... I ended up making a spreadsheet just to keep track of who had and hadn't responded and who was in what order (mostly for $10 and $20 parts). It took a week and really irritated people who wanted the parts and were willing to pay. From now on, money talks.
Sorry for the rant...

Welcome to my life...lol... I have sold a lot of stuff on here and the "dibs" tire kickers are everywhere..

I'm at the point that if you are AWOL for more than three days its going to the next guy..

My attitude is now: Oh well, cry me a river.. You snooze, you loose!!

As for the xfer case... Could I bug you to possibly check with Fed-Ex as they are more realistic than UPS?? I would expect to pay about half of that for a 65# part.. I shipped a 700r4 a couple years back to the south from Cali. in a storage container and it cost like $100..

Thanks,

Re: Several parts

Paul,
You can try your luck with the shipping calculator stuff, if you want. FedEx showed $222. I'm saying total weight is 68 lb and box is 35x32x26 (totally guessing at the size since the case is at home).

Matt,
Yes, the rest of your stuff went out yesterday. You should see them soon.

Re: Several parts

Sorry but I'm not going to just send over money without confirmation that I am the one the part will go to. That's the point of dibs, so you have 1 guy sending money for 1 part. This whole first on the draw with PayPal, is crap to me. i totally agree with the 3 day grace period for dibs, but I'd probably only give 2 days. But at least give the guy calling dibs a shot at the purchase FIRST. Then move on from there

Re: Several parts

I completely agree your way makes more sense. That's why I started there. IF (big if) everyone would follow through it is without a doubt more fair to do it your way. But in real life it's just too much work. Or maybe I'm just old and grumpy (strong possibility).
Anyway, back to selling. Anybody want some good stuff?

Re: Several parts

Kind of interested in the headers but that notch bothers me... There was another fs thread for these that talked about that right? That notch doesnt really hurt the performance right? And last question, if you or anyone can answer it, would these work with a PTE PT6266 turbo as long as it has the GMC Syclone/Typhoon .85 A/R option right?

The box size seems mighty large.. If you can get me an accurate one I don't mind checking with shipping companies.

Thanks,

Re: Several parts

Amperage or part number That you can see on the alternator? I'm going to guess 140, but could be more.

Re: Several parts

Z Ski: I measured and it's more like 26x23x15. My guess wasn't great...
Darin: I was told 140, but all I can find on it is a little sticker that says "47861. WC" which doesn't seem to mean anything. Ideas?

Re: Several parts

atomicmecha: some were concerned about restricting flow, but the way it is there should be the same cross-sectional area as the tubes. That sounds like the turbo that was on it, but somebody smart will have to confirm.
