sell sy for Z06?

would you guys sell your syclone for a 2002 Z06? i am seriously thinking about it. I was presented with an oppurtunity to buy a Z06 for 15k it has 8300 miles and is stock.

would you do it?

1) if you are selling the stock sy, not your 821hp one

2) you have two and don't need two..get something different and you still have a bad ass sy.

Yeah if u have 2 sy's i would trade the stock one for a z06 more performance , better gas mileage, reliabilty etc etc. but 15k seems real low for z06 is there anything wrong with it?

I know that they have a bad batch of Z06's on the market, a friend has one with like 13-14k and it takes a quart of oil everytime he takes it out, and it is not a daily driver either and the guy is in his mid fifties. Something is wrong with the rings or something. GM has offered to replace it, but who wants the dealer ripping your car apart?

If I paid for a new car and a warentee.. Id want whomever was authorized to rip it out, as long as they gave me a new warentee.

I like the Z06 but for the price they can keep it. Last time at the track there was 2 there. And if my stock turbo Ty can beat them I am not paying that kind of money for one. But the newer ones do look sharp.

nothing wrong with the vette, i have spent a good portion of its life behind the wheel. she is getting one of the new vettes, i keep trying to tell her to wait for the new z06 to come out but she wants one now. I love the car only thing i would change would be the chrome wheels, i think i needs black ones. I would absolutley love to drive one of these with a TT kit, they would be som amazing.

Why are they selling their 8,300 mile 2002 Z06 for $15k??? Or is it a trade...your Sy + $15k for the Vette??

An '02 Z06 with those kinda miles is going for $30k-$35k.

Sounds fishy to me if they are selling it that cheap. But yeah, I'd buy it for $15k, then turn around and sell it for $30k the next day.

add on a z06 good lord after this month the sti will be paid off so i can drop full coverage on that. and in 2-3 months the f-350 will be paid off too.

add on a z06 good lord after this month the sti will be paid off so i can drop full coverage on that. and in 2-3 months the f-350 will be paid off too.

good friend of mine owns an 03 Z06....it has been slightly modded..some kind of reprogramming and a 500 dollar intake that breathes out of where the front license plate should go...i've driven it a couple of times and it hauls balls...my favorite aspect of the car (besides the looks) is the in-cab sound of the motor...oh yea, he installed a complete borla exhaust system on it as well...the car is red with red/black interior...i bet that car can squeeze out a high eleven on a cool day...they are incredible cars...he bought it with only 1500 miles on the odometer and IIRC he paid 42k for it...
