It's never enough
Seems like ever since the site has gotten a makeover the search function has gone out the window.

Anyone else experiencing this or am I interneting wrong?

I agree, but then again I'm not a 'heavy' user.

I'm sure someone is working on fixing this. There's way too much valuable information on here. Can't imagine that would get thrown out for cosmetics.

The search was broken when i did the upgrade. I have VB support looking at it and i promise you i've been emailing them everyday. I'm not to happy with this new upgrade but now that we have about 2 weeks of new posts i'm afraid if i revert it we'll loose those posts. I tried to figure out the problem but it doesn't look to easy. Things like this happen when there is a large DB behind the scenes, I'm sure if i started fresh the site would be working 100%.

Search function + years of posts prior to the last 2 weeks > Posts the last two weeks

Not just search. I can't see any new posts in the last week. I made 3 in the lounge on accident because I keep getting "invalid server response" then I refresh the Lounge and my post isn't showing. Been this way for a few months.

Looks like I'm not the only one. Someone posted 10 times looking for a shifter cable. Keith455 posted 5 times in one thread, I'm guessing due to the same problem.


Why hasn't this been fixed yet? It's been months.

I think the site is done. The threads don't even update on the main page of each forum. Last post in this thread was 1/30/2018 yet it says the last post was in 2017 when looking at the list of threads. I posted a thread a week or 2 ago. It still doesn't show up in this forum. Not sure if it's the forum or someone has my posts on global ignore? It's happened before so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.
