i am rebuilding the front end with the pst kit.
i marked where the lower control arm meets the torsion bar.
but when i burnt out the bushings i lost the mark on the arm:rant:
how do i match up the torsion bar and the control arm correctly?
thanks
?? Why do you need that mark, the only helpful observations to notice is the, number of turn of the torsion bars, alignment of the upper control arms and the length of the tie rod if you replacing them.
uuummm unless im thinking wrong.
if the arm has 6 sides along with the torsion bar.
lets say it was originaly on the 4th side of the arm.
and i put it one notch off(3rd or 5th),
wont the truck either sit too low or too high?
there is only one way to put them in. usually the lower arm will be at about a 45 degree angle down from the horizontal position, before there is spring pressure going upwards.
