Thank you for posting the pic, I didn't have the authorization yet to post pics.

I'll be getting an estimated price soon, I would say the more we get the better price it would be. If I had to guess though, it would be compairably priced with the other SM's for different vehicles.

Re: Scanmaster for SyTy

I'm still efforting. The biggest way to make this take off is more interest. I know the SyTy community is pretty small but if we can band together...........

I added 2221 to the list, I think we are up to 8. Spread the word, like I said this is a must have. Once you have it you will wonder how you ever drove your truck without it.

Re: Scanmaster for SyTy

how is the scanmaster progress? Will they not build them for less than 30 orders? I just know they could sell many more than that if they would just get them on the market and let word-of -mouth do the rest. :2cents:

Re: Scanmaster for SyTy

I am confident this will happen, but it will take a little while to do. Bob and I are getting together at the Buick Nats in Bowling Green, Ky in May. He wants to spend some time in the Ty getting data and other stuff. I have been very persistant pushing this to him and it IS on the Things to Do list, but there are other projects he has to finish before starting this. But if everyone can be patient, I would think that the middle or end of summer would be a realistic time frame.

It will be like the units pictured, due to the mother board and chip inside, no way could this be put in gauge form.

Not knocking the situation and glad your trying  but I think the biggest way to make this take off would be for him to show some interest and come on the board here and talk with us about it. I mean it's only been like 8 plus (or so) years (back when my brother and cousin were SyTy'n heavy) and I think there was more interest then than now, I wanna say 30-40 peeps at that time when they were talking to Bob and the other fella (forgot his name now) and they chased them for several years on this. I don't wanna say that they aren't interested but our trucks aren't Buick's

Few more years go by and we either will have total voice command and heads up display or gas will no longer be produced (or affordable) then it'll be kind of a moot point. WHERE'S MY DAMNED SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK :rotf: Sorry just fun. But If he every does get finished with those projects and wants to do something with us well be in for it

Good luck this was attempted before even cash was fronted to get the ball rolling all that happened was the check was chased and thats it

Re: Scanmaster for SyTy

I know it will be hard to get excited about it since there has been so many dissappointments before. However, I think that once a working unit is complete, folks will get onboard. Unfortunately, projects like this take time but I truly feel that in the end it will be worth it.

I can met you in bowling green with trucks, and really ANY information he may need.

I have access or can get just about anything related to our ecm. I believe if I understand how it works it should just be a software change.

Bailey Engineering Inc.owns the rights and the name. Mike would be involved, especially in the sales end. Mike's company used to be Modern Musclecar. They basically merged that company in with Ramchargers. Before RC went defunct, Mike left to restart his company as Full Throttle Speed. I think the only thing that RC owned was the name Modern Musclecar, not sure on that though.
