Greetings, Ty/Sy fans! The shop manual refers to a "Tech 1 computer / hand held scan tool": Any recommendations? Happy Holidays to all!

Datamaster is hands down the BEST mod that you can buy for your truck. Without a datalogger of some sort, you are really guessing how well your truck is running or what is wrong with it. I got it a few months ago and I should have bought it before anything else. You can download it free here http://akmcables.com/ and get 20 trial runs before you have to fork over some moolah. Only problem is that you have to have a cable to connect the Assembly Line Data Link (ALDL) to the serial port on your laptop. You can get the cables from the link as well.
