Is it true that the saudi syclons has the o2 sensors disabled ?

From what I remember the Saudis originally had the O2 sensors disabled. If I remember correctly the wiring was cut before shipment. They also had a resonator in place of the catalytic convertor because Saudi Arabia still used leaded gasoline in 1991.
The 31 Saudi Syclones that returned to GM in the U.S. would have had Cats installed and the O2 sensor re-enabled to comply with U.S. emissions laws.
