Hello All Sy-Ty Drivers,

I met one of your fellow Sy-Ty drivers at the track a few weeks back. After doing some searching through your site, i see that your stock gauge faces leave something to be desired! :D I thought Id see if there was any interest in producing gauge faces for you guys.

Let me show you some of the gauges that I sell for other vehicles, and I will then leave it open for Q&A, If enough interest is presented (it wont take much) I would love to become a vendor here. So with that said heres some of the gauges :tup:

Hello-

welcome to the site. I think all your designs look really good.

Is your product a replacement of guage faces, or the entire unit?

I personally would like to see another option for the entire unit; Corvette C5/C6 comes to mind:

Judging by the pics they look to be overlays.

www.speedhut.com already makes a set for our trucks and you can even order the Syclone and Typhoon logos on them. White face, red face, silver, even indiglo and reversed indiglo.

Not to say yours aren't better just letting you know the overlays are readily available.

Yes I know, I can also do almost all those things, and sometimes a little more.Like if you wanted your name, custom logo, design, and colors etc. In the overlay sense, I think of something that will go over your stock guage face(usually a sticker gauge you buy from ebay for $10), this is not the case with mine, you will need to remove your factory gauge face to install mine. I just thought Id give you guys some options to work with. :tup:

Merk posted the one I would buy right now if made right. The C5 zo6 style is very nice.

The thing I would like to see is the truck number inlaid about where the ZO6 logo is on the style posted above.

How much will these inlays cost? Roundabout price here.

I'm all for the Z06 guage design!:tup: If would could get that count me in. I think I would rather see Syclone or Typhoon where Z06 is and maybe the number of the truck where the Corvette Flags are.

Yeah, yeah.....something like that would be awesome!!! You'd probably have a huge chunk of people wanting those if you could pull it off.

I really like the way this one looks at night....but, I'd changet he numbers to RED leavingthe tic marks like they are. I'd also want to remove the flames and put in SY/TY logos, possibly a GMC or something similar? I'll have to get to work o PhotoShop. Anybody have a good night pic of our cluster?

BTW if anybody is looking for custom made guage faces, and no not the corvette style complete unit you can go to www.blackcatcustoms.com Best guy in the world for this stuff and best prices as well, if you want a one off hell do it no problem. Im going to have a set made for my GT that will have the Sonoma GT logo and my truck number and id like to fit the GMC Motorsports logo as well just not sure where it will all fit. Mine will also be made to look like my autometer phantom guages that will be in the piller pod, red needles and the font will match the autometer guages.

Should be slick as hell once its all done.

I'm happy with mine, but if the C5 Z06 were made with Syclone and truck number, I'd buy it without hesitation. And yes, those gauges are sliver.

Well i have one for sale, out of a Sy with 129xxx miles, great shape, 250 shipped and its yours.

Id also be interested in a set, but youll have to delete the boost guage for my Sonoma GT. Everything else is the same.

Hey all,

please do not turn your nose up to me, i'm new here, and no I don't have a sy/ty, but am conspiring to build an as worthy vehicle. I'm taking an 85 gmc jimmy 4x4 2dr, swapping in a lt1/4l60-e, bw 4472 t-case, and make it all sing.

I purchased this already started project, and am hopefully staying on it to completion. The project came w/ a turbo sunbird gauge cluster, which I was told is exactly the same as the sy/ty cluster. Since the interior is completely gutted out of the truck, I better access to the cluster, and since this isn't related to a piece of collector history I can pull the cluster overlay off and scan it.

EDIT- Here's a bad pic of what I am talking about, colors and redline look a little different, but everything else is the same.
