RWHP on SY/TY

Toyota made imported right around 12,000 Supras but only about 6,000 of those were turbo models...I think.
BTW, when running a G-Tech on my Firebird at the dragstrip the ET was always very accurate. However, the MPH reading on the G-tech was always 3-4 mph higher than the timeslip. I never used it on the Sy at the track.

I ran my G-tech at a track and it was within .1, mph was way off though. I think the most important thing when testing with a G-tech is finding a flat road. I usually make two runs, one in each direction to make sure their close. BTW: I don't think a Sy can launch hard enough to throw off a G-tech, but the way a typhoon launches (straight up) it might be a different story, My 60' times were in the mid 1.6's when I ran my G-tech at the track.

Hmmm. the gtech is that off?
i guess everyone agrees on that. how much is the thing off? I just real happy i finally got my car runin and runin good too  As for ur question Brian, Diggs did my chip we would email programs back and forth. I still get some problems with boost control with the stock wastegate, thinkin about just gettin an external and be done with the boost problems.

The Gtech can be off, especially on Typhoons. IMO, I'd just use it as a tuning aid, to find what gives the best performance numbers for tuning purposes. I wouldn't trust it for saying a vehicle does XX.XX @ XXXmph though, because i've seen it way off, and there can be user error as well.

Dig does some good custom chip work, glad you had him doing it and not some amateur

Good luck with the truck, let us know what times you post at the track.. I'm curious as well as the rest, as to what a very stock Ty can run. My old Typhoon, on stock motor/turbo/trans etc, did 12.9 on pump gas.

Dooky, use some of that attention to detail you claim to harbor and notice
that Opleezz has a Typhoon.
Thanks for that friendly reminder, Sharon. I am sorry I forgot he had a Typhoon and not a Syclone, I had no idea it would upset you so greatly.
