Running hot???

Got a 93' Ty,147k, all stock except for K&N and catless 3in.
The problem I am having is the truck will run 180ish around town, but if I am on the freeway it will,well just climb...It only does it if I go faster than 60. Between me and the previous owner the;water pump,and the thermostat have been changed.There is no signs of a bad HG or a leaking rad. Ideas?

Check your fan clutch.

plugged rad? have you tried washing it out or maybe doing a rad flush

Plugged rad seems possible.But wouldn't a fan clutch disengage at speed?
