Re: Rumors

i seem to have lost track of my own thread..
Bdubb as in the real Bdubb :p , yes
Sean Morris a OG SyTy owner that lives in SoCal, helped invent the DP bitchslap amongst other things
and Andrew Schwartz who owned the infamous Ty on twinkies before anyone knew what a twinkie was (fyi a 20 inch rim circa 97-98). He also provided us SyTy guys with clears and other misc. type parts for appearence on his site autosyndicate.com (dead now).
Now i am unsure of the dates but i do know the story, here goes:
In 199? Andrew and Sean rented trucks and trailers to go to the Nats. Along the way thier trucks broke down leaving them virtually stranded in the middle of the country. They proceed to take thier SyTy's off of the trailers, ditch the convoy and head to Nats boosted! Along the way they drew some attention while going in excess of 100 MPH trying to get to the event. They do arrive but they have company; state troopers (eek). Well once they get into the SyTy pack, the owners swarm the police to defend them. Turns out all it took was a T-Shirt for them to be let go, crime free. And thats the scoop on those fellers.
SyTys 1 Piggies 0 (minus 2 shirts)

Re: Rumors

I remember Sean and Andrew's entrance to the first SYTY nationals and the expression on the officers face when 100 + people desented on him to find out what was going on.
Could have been ugly but T-Shirst to the rescue.

Will try to make it this year again, since I now live in Cotopaxi Colorado instead of Nashua New Hampshire.
