Rubber on cladding

Am I seein' what I think I'm seein'? Rubber, as in wheel spin, on the left front. Geez. Never seen this before, not sure what to make of it. Either my transfer case is in pretty good shape or it's toast sending everything to the front, which I rather doubt with the truck pulling a 12.497. There is no evidence of rubber on any of the other cladding. Must of looked interesting from the outside.

my 13.6 stock ty did that as well as my stock sy

My ty does that with just a ATR 3 inch exhaust and a K&N 9 inch on the stock strangulation tube.

I had just not ever seen this on my truck so I thought I'd throw up a pic. Now all I need is someone with a movie camera to catch my launches.

I have seen trucks do that before, usually from a burnout though. Is it possible it is rubber kicked up from the track from previous cars? I wouldn't think you were spinning enough to kick up rubber like that.

I have seen it on the rearview mirror even from spinning. But that was with a John Force style burnout.

I was told mine did it as well when I held more then 11-12psi on a launch. But only on the street. At the track it was to sticky to do it unless I went over 15psi, but then usually just spun for a while anyway after I launched.

Although I tend to use the right lane, easier to see the boost and the tree, after last Sat. (and because of the camera) I think I'll make some runs in the left and see how it goes.

Bring lots of layers, I don't think it will be warm at all.
