H-TOWN-TYPHOON
You're killin' me, Smalls
Well, I guess it's time.
Price is an *optimistic* $10500 obo
This is a typical don't want to sell it but don't need to keep it but blah blah blah. In the time that I have owned the truck my lifestyle has changed dramatically on the family and job fronts. Unfortunately, all of my time is now demanded by others and I no longer have the luxury of going out into the garage to "piddle."
It's been garaged since I got it, and was garaged by the previous owner before me. As it sits right now it has ~135 on the odometer, and that number won't change much in between now and the time of sale.
Mods:
Walbro (brand new)
Tru-Boost (brand new)
Ultimate
50s
Exhaust
20g
Volvo fan kit (pretty much new)
Z06 wheels
The good:
It's pretty
Interior is in great shape
I haven't beat on it. A couple of years ago I had to daily it for a couple of months and it did fine.
The Bad:
Intercooler pump not working.
The tab broke on the passenger front cladding and that piece was removed. Still have it and the paint is still good.
The hood has multiple paint chips on the leading edge from being driven 135k miles.
135k miles
Air conditioning is not currently working.
It will need tires relatively soon.
The truck will come with the following:
Fancy Schmancy car cover
Built (used) short block. It was bought from T-Bone in 2008 and I intended to throw it in on my way to owning a low 11 second truck.
Rebuilt Vortec Heads
9/11 Torque converter with 3k stall. Bought from E-Rue a few years back.
Bushings/tie rods/ball joints/everything to rebuild the front end. Bought from Tucker Auto Parts and still sitting in a box on the shelf.
All of the above will come with the vehicle. I have also amassed a small fortune in various other SY/TY go fast parts that may or may not go with the truck.
Honestly, I'm not prepared to start this thread. I'm posting it for the necessary motivation to get the ball rolling. The truck just plain doesn't get driven, and I'm not doing it or myself any favors by just letting it sit in the garage.
I don't have any pictures of it on this laptop, but the sportmachines gallery has some. Since the time of these pictures, I have removed the woodgrain overlay on the dash. Under the hood, I got rid of the ATR intercooler and intake and installed a factory intercooler and a cobra elbow/cone filter.

I will start tomorrow with a proper cleaning of the truck and take pictures of it as I go. It shouldn't need much, just a good bath and a light vacuuming of the interior.
I would REALLY prefer to sell this truck locally. That way the new owner and myself can go through everything and we both feel confident about the deal before the truck leaves the driveway.
Title in hand, ready to go.
Any questions, just ask. I've dealt with tons of people on this board and absolutely will not knowingly misrepresent anything about this truck.
I would entertain partial trades for TJ jeeps or 1/2 ton trucks or 4 door tacomas or 24v dodges or...what have you got?
