Yikes,

As a cyclist I totally understand the implications of riding with traffic. I hate to hear of stuff like this, and it scares me a bit too. It's amazing how many people just flat plain don't pay attention to people on two wheels.

You are very lucky it was not worse. I too had a bicycle accident recently and wound up with a broken arm and leg I was in the hospital for a month along with 2 sugery's to my leg, now I have a plate in my arm and leg and am going through therapy to get my leg to bend, at this time I can only bend it 40 degrees and non weight bearing because of the type of break it was, hopefully we both recover back to 100%. Wow man sorry to hear that. My sister is in the medical program at Vanderbilt and it's top notch for sure. If they said no long term effects I TRUST them 100%.

On a side note, I'll paypall you later this afternoon for the non a/c heater box :tup:

hey wow i just found this thread...sorry i kept buggin you, had no idea. take it easy and get rested up, it'a amazing the amount of energy the body uses when recovering from an injury

You guys don't bug me.....this is my stress relief . I faxed the letter as requested this past Thursday morning. You should be good to go. If you want a personal copy, PM me and I will get it heading west on Monday morning.

TO ALL: Thanks for the kind words and thoughts. Didn't post the information up for sympathy BUT it is nice to know there are still folks in the world with a lil' character :tup:. The right portion of my face is still numb and I have 6 visits to Vanderbilt Otolaryngology Dept. beginning this Wednesday. Hopeful all will return to some sense of normality. The fact I can still see and walk is enough to be thankful for.

if your up to sending a copy then that would be fine. you don't have to mail it, i suppose you could fax it if you have access to a machine, doesn't matter to me, as seth from super bad would say, "either way either way"
