hate to say it Friends, but Rockford Racecraft is going out of business officially.
The economy, a vicious and vindictive cheating soon to be ex wife, and generally the difficulty of being profitable in a niche market has done us in.
After 14 years, We are selling most everything walls to ceiling. It would take more space than I have here to list everything, so I am having a garage sale.
Sat and Sun June 11&12, and Sat and Sun June 18&19. 9am to 3pm.
Stop by and check it out. Say hi. whatever.

An opportunity for people to get their stuff back perhaps?
Big ethical question here - do people buy up his stuff for a deal knowing that most of it is ill gotten?
What about his creditors? Wonder where he'll pop up next though.

How exactly does this work...from a legal standpoint?
Maybe I'm missing something, but how would he be allowed to sell a former customer's parts, materials, equipment etc, and not get in an ass load more trouble when those people come beating down his door for their stuff?
If I had an invoice, or a receipt for a part that was with my truck at his shop, and he sold it claiming he was the owner (or however it would be worded), wouldn't this land him in court for conversion, or personal property theft?

Lets say you drop your ty off and the intake manifold is missing. Your word against his, especially after 10yrs of sitting in his shop. Nobody has proof either way.
And if you do, then you can go to court, hire a lawyer to go after what. A foreclosed business? I assume he is LLC or Inc. Makes it you vs company not you vs person.
The person can walk away leaving you to fight a company that no longer exists. Most people in this situation realize spending money on lawyers, etc is just throwing more $$ to go no where.
1 guy in the past did go all the way, in the end he still lost. Innocent until proven guilty right. So you gotta come with so much proof your chances are slim.
Old West techniques are really the only thing left, but that has its own problems for those that go that route probably not worth it.

from what I under stand he wasnt a LLC , you would need to find out is he closing or filing BK if hes filling BK you need to get in line with all the other creditiors
