Well I get off of work at 11pm and I finally decided to just get the sy out and drive it instead of worrying about what needs to be fixed. I must have saw like 5 different turbo hondas driving around. I saw a group of cars parked along the street so I just figured I would just see what sort of setups they had. I rolled up in the sy and I was like "hey guys" I got this like really lame response from them. I could tell what they were thinking, like "what are you doing here with that stupid truck." I asked them if anyone was running tonight and that I wasn’t from around here. They just sorta mumbled. I was like ok Im just going to get to the point. I ask "what sorta turbo are you running there." I could see I got there attention now. They played it off like they didn’t have any thing. All of a sudden I see this Chrysler 500C pull up next to my truck. The guy was like is this your truck. I was like yeah. Hes like "NICE!" I used to have a Ty before I crashed it. The honda guys started to get into the convo. The guy with the Ty (I cant remember his name any more, Im terrible with names and I apologize ) went on about how it was a V6 turbo and puts out about 285hp stock. The honda guys thought he was joking so I popped the hood and showed them. All of a sudden the truck was cool and they wanted to know more. They actually turned out to be pretty cool. The one guy was running a 4 door civic with a 16G turbo. He said he was running 15psi and it was his low boost setting.
Back to the Ty guy, he was real cool and asked for my number. He says he has a buddy up in the twin cities with a ty and they were more than happy to help me with mine. He also is a member of sy/ty forum. It just seems like anyone from the forum will give the shirt off their back just to help a guy out. Thats really great and not something you can find very often.
