Roadkill or a leak?

I am getting ready to swap out my IC pump and was looking at my lower exchanger. Do you guys think this could be a slight leak or just something leftover from something that got squished? It doesn't feel like just dirt and I have not yet attempted to drain the exchanger to see how much fluid is left. Just wondering if it was an obvious sign of something leaking or broken from someone who may have had an exchanger break on them before. I do not want to get the IC all taken apart and then have to wait a long time to find a replacement if needed, but if I could save a few $$ because this one is ok........ Truck just turned 60k and spent all of its life in WI before I got it back in June.

Any help would be great.....

Just pull it as a unit and take it to any radiator shop, most will pressure test it for free. You need to look for visible leaks also upper IC would need topping off frequently.

Fighting5thSVT if you are in need of a stock one I do have one I will not need. I will let it go real cheap......just let me know. :tup:
