Removing Throttle Body?

How hard is it to remove the throttle body on these trucks?

I'm wanting to clean it up real good on the inside where the butterflies are....also wanting to clean the IAC valve.

Is this a difficult process to remove it?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Nice.
Assuming the truck is stock just loosen the upper IC bracket bolts enough to move the IC back to remove the boot between the TB and the upper IC. Spray some carb cleaner in there and wipe it with a rag. Then you can start the truck and spray carb cleaner into the IAC port. Don't spray too much as it will stall. May want to hold the throttle up a little while you spray it. This is the easiest way to clean it without removing the TB.
Or just remove the 4 bolts that hold the TB in and the 2 electrical plugs on it (IAC) and (TPS) and one vauum line on the bottom. Remove the TV cable/throttle cable also.

If you do remove it, you are probably not going to like the way it looks inside the plenum. These trucks are known for being dirty/oily after the throttle body.

Don't forget the gasket if you remove the TB!
