Removing lower intake manifold

I've never removed the fuel injectors before. I have no idea how to go about it really - wanted to make sure I do it right. So what is the best way to get them out of there?

Removing everything else from the intake looks ok - antyhing that's going to suprise me?

No surprises really. Disconnect the fuel rail and fuel rail mounting bolts and pull on it. You may want to have an extra upper to lower intake gasket available.

Well, I've only done it twice (putting Ivan's fuel rails on, then taking them off to resolve fuel leaks), so I'm no expert. I moved the IC over to one side, and the TB must come off, AFPR comes off, and of course the fuel rails. I never removed the upper intake. There might have been some other little things I'm not remembering but I think that was it. It wasn't that big a deal. Oh yes, I replaced gaskets.

HTH,
