So I caught up with a couple of Mustangs on my way to WalyMart with the wife a little bit ago. There were two black ones. I guess the nicer one that was next to us gave me some kind of weird look, my wife said. She described it as if he was giving us hte yeah right look. So I caught him at a red and let him have. He didnt look over before the light turned so I couldnt really verify if he was gonna go for it or not. I went anyway and he didnt. I did it just to wipe the smerk off his face if he was giving me. So about a mile later, there is a red Cobra pulled over and the two black Mustangs slow down and let hium in. Turns out they are all friends and he was waiting for them. So right away we catch the light and he says he wants to run. Bad part is that ive been playing with hte EBC lately and cant get it to stay at 20psi. It will start out at a solid 17 then over boost to 21/23. If I set it lower it is perfect at about 18psi :dunno: Ill figure that out later. So I spool it up as the other light is turning yellow and get an ok 15lb launch. The truck spun bad to the right which I think kind of slowed me down. I hit about 70 and still was holding him off by about 5 cars. This is where I started to overboost. It shot up to 23 again and a big puff of smoke came out probably blinding the people behind me :lol: He started pulling on me pretty hard right when that happened. So I go about my business and caught him at yet another light and he tells me he wants to go run somewhere else. We pull over at a gas station to discuss a location and I asked him what all he had done. He said full exhaust, pulley, chipping, and meth. He was on street tires though. So we head up to the spot and line em up. I turned the boost down to the 18psi level just because I didnt want to overboost again. So I get the truck wound up and let it go on green, had about 4-5 cars on him through the intersection and again had awful wheel spin. By the time I hit the 1/4 mark he was still a good 6 cars back. That run the truck never seeemed to bog or do anything wrong, it was nice and smooth. We pulled over and he told he couldnt hook up for shit and said to race him at the track. I gave him my # so maybe one of these days we'll get a better run.
