I have decided to install a conv to shave a little more off of my times. I consistantly run in the 8.2s in the 1/8th at 86 mph with 1.70 60fts. My mods are in my sig. Would RPMs 9/11 be a good choice? Im thinking 3000 stall 9/11. Im looking to get the truck in the high 7.8s and easier ability to launch it hard! Any suggestions aprec!!:D

i have a yank 2800 that i bought off of e bay for 360 new in box it is the best converter i have ever had around town just toooling around at acts like a stock converter, but get into boost and it comes alive before the stall i could only get to 3 lbs of boost with my pte52 now i have left at 14 lbs and the truck is an animal.

I would make a sujestion but since you have that chip I would not consider it. A manual boost valve would help spool up big time on the line. Your next problem would be pushing through the breaks. A stall is a good thing to have even on the stock turbo. I would contact Bill Schams and ask him what conver he is using with the stock turbo. His launches are NASTY! I think his aviator is bschams.
