i just called a local guy i get all my parts from. he shows a listing for them , but cant get them. he said maybe dealer only. he also said they sell them as a pair. did you try to call the dealer and see? i also found a few posts that might help you. i only looked quick at them. here a link from google.

No I've never called a dealer to check, but I'm sure they wont be cheap and with enough used ones floating around I probably wouldn't even bother.

Drums hands down will do a better job of holding boost while braking ( more surface area ).

this maybe true on paper but in real life i feel my rear disc's hold with NO ISSUES. when pads are low and rotors need to be replaced (like now) my discs word as good for launches as the day i installed them.

15psi launches repeatedly without even thinking about if the brakes will hold

I wasn't trying to say you couldn't build a rear disc setup that wouldn't hold up to what your doing, but if your on a budget it's going to be way cheaper and easier to get a rear drum setup to hold, instead of changing everything over. All you need is 2 wheel cylinders and a set of brake shoes, as apposed to calipers, rotors, brackets, e-brake cables, ect.

Not sure what your getting at here, so will a drum setup if you simply make sure they're adjusted up properly (something that 99% of people with rear drums overlook).

In the end I'm sure you'll be able to build a disc setup that works for everything we do, but in the end if you were to push the limits and see what would hold the most, my moneys on the drums.

I am all for braking upgrades in our trucks, but I am not so sure a Syclone's light weight in the rear can rear take advantage of disc brakes without some type of ABS system. I know one of the road racers said he has had a hell of a time even with a portioning valve set to front as much as possible to get his rear disc not to lock up first. Until I get my ABS working again or someone else figures out a solution and I just going to stick with my drums.

I have the CBR C5 brake setup on the front with aluminum drums on the rear with the 7/8 cylinders. I can easily hold boost and can launch myself through the windshield any time I like!

Yes, they have nothing to do with the ABS.

That's what I have also and am very happy with them. I got the aluminum drums from a guy that specializes in used camaro/firebird parts in SC. I think it was Hawk or something like that. I'll see if I can find the contact info. Try this:

I also deleted the ABS and installed the C5 front kit. Brakes are now perfect.

i never had a problem with my rear disc brakes locking up on me. belive me i tried.
