Rear Axles?

Ok heres whats going on... My dad has a 91 2wd V8 S-10. He wanted a posi unit for in it. There was one on ebay and I told him to get it. I think it was a syty posi but not sure since it has been over a year ago when he bought it. We went to put the posi into the rear. The ring gear bolted rite to the posi but when we went to slide the axles into the rear the axles are to small. Whats going on? What axles do I need to get this posi unit to wonk in this rear?

I didnt know there was a differnece untill now. :banghead: I just found out that the posi IS out of a ty. What axles am I going to need to make this unit work in the 2wd rear. I know that syty axles are wider because they are 4x4 axles.
