Rear axle shaft

I have a bent axle shaft on my 93' Typhoon and need a replacement.
Is this the same axle shaft from a regular 4X4 S-10? I have been getting
the run around in my home area auto parts stores. If not what other GM vehicles are the
rear axle shafts specific to? I need to get a replacement ASAP! (car show coming up)
Years, makes, models and part numbers would be VERY helpful.

you must use one that is from a 93 and up, unless you have deleted the abs. if you have no abs then any old 4wd shaft will work.

I have ABS and would like to keep using it. So does this mean I need a 93 "Typhoon" rear axle shaft or any 93' S-10 4X4? I noticed LMC has them but I need to know "exactly" what I need because they will not accept it back once it is ordered. Is there any other vehicles that use this axle shaft? Do you know how many teeth are on the spline?

any 93 s-series 4wd shaft will work. that part isnt ty specific.

It will have 28 splines.
