RIP yar :( I had bought some syty parts from him this past spring. He was asset to this community and will be missed.

When myclone was tragically crushed by his truck, yar donated a whole bunch of syty stuff for the fundraiser that this forum did to raise money for his widow. He definitely earned whole bunch of my respect for his generosity.

I met Ray years ago not long after I bought my Sy. It was doing the clunk-clunk thing in reverse. He sold me a brand new t-case. It's still in the truck. Last spring he sent me, gratis, a couple of cladding tabs. When I talked to him he sounded good but yet I got the impression his health was deteriorating.

Once he knew it he never forgot my birthday, always sending a PM. You just knew he was on the site because every once in a while, zing, there he was with a part or offer to help.

When I met him he had a post lift in his yard that ran on vegetable oil. No chance of oil pollution. Cool!

RIP sorry to hear this news. I never met Ray in person but talked to him on the phone a few times. One thing I do know he had about every NOS part you ever would need!

I've known Ray for years and he was always helpful and never a snide comment or rude remark.

Just a quick update for you guys. Judi is working through all this the best she can. Her family has been flying in to help her. I've talked to her a few times since and like most things, there are alright times and really hard times. I'll be spending the evening with her and their family so I'll be sure to share the kind words people have said.

I've told her to let me know if she need anything. Even though Ray is gone, Judi is still taking care of the parts Ray had sold and I will be helping her sort that out tonight.

Ray was like a father to me, I can't believe he is gone

Thanks for being our point of contact.

Shipping parts should be the last thing on her mind, so I'd tell her that they can wait. The buyers would understand.

Hi Garrison,

I know how you feel Ray was a great friend and when Judy and I talked today she told me you were coming over to help. Thank you.

I am going to miss him dearly and I still have there voicemail on my phone when they called and sang happy birthday to me. I somehow have to figure out how to save it as I don't want to lose it.

Loved him and Judy just like family and I am going to miss hearing his voice.

So very sad to read this. Ray was always so nice every time i called about parts. Seemed like a greay guy. How was it he came to have all of the parts again? I thought i remembered he bought the parts that were left from pas? Was that hear say or......

Very sad out come on this. I only talked to Ray once, and that was way back when I first bought my Typhoon. Sad to loose a member. Condolences to his wife and family.

This is so sad. I hope for all the best for Ray's family.

I had great dealings with Ray. He would even throw in extra goodies with the parts ordered. That tells you what kind of guy Ray was.

I was blessed enough to be able to spend a good ammount of time with Jodi and the family today.. We had lots of great Ray stories to share which drove home the fact that Ray will be deeply missed.. The family deeply appreciates all of the kind words that are being spread about Ray.. Thanks again for everyone's kind wishes and continued support during this hard time..
