Typhoon looks great from about 2 feet away now, except for that spot of paint ruined by some ****ing kids throwing eggs up the neighborhood.
I spent 5 hours polishing the oxidation off of the paint. You can't use the random orbital for much, since there are so many curves and grooves - GRRR.
Oh yeah the paint looked terrible from one of those touchless carwashes at the gas station. Works great on a clear coat car!, but that fake wax shit was a beast to get off.
Well thanks to no clear coat, there is now little pin hole spots where the paint is missing from sap or somethig ~ did I mention how shitty the OEM paint is? One spot I let get bad from overspary of a sprinkler that left some hard water spots. A lot of No 7 rubbing compound, and ten some swirl mark/haze polish, it is probably the best part of the truck.
I am going to put about 1/4inch of wax on this thing, and hopefully start saving for a paint job someday.
