on my g-tech pro, had to get new firmware for it and today was a nice day about 65 out so busted out the syclone to see what it ran. anyways it was pretty sweet

1.782 60 foot time also these BFG KD's hook really nice. took this kid for a ride who swares that his LT1 could beat my sy so we ran his lt1 last week and it went 14.1 hahahahahaha

saved the run so if anybody wants to see it i could email it to them you need to have the program from G-techs site though.

I beleive so I know I can see my run or at least download it to my PC because I saw that option when I was uploading the new firmware. how do you like yours? do you have any timeslips to compare your g-tech to?

0-60 in 3.4 Typo or do you have one of those 300/600/300 HP Sy's 300 for the first 60 feet, 600 up 2 60mph and then back two 300???

O-60 in 3.4 is very doable in a Sy IMHO, however, I don't think his Sy is one of them. Initially when these things (GTechPro) came out...there was quite a lot of discussion that the G Forces exerted by a SyTy in the initial 60' of a launch were known to cause extreme discomfort to the GTech. Whether or not this was ever improved upon in the later models...I don't know.

3.4 to 0-60MPH and 13.0 on the 1/4th mile don't match. My best DM recorded run was 4.1 and 12.7 so far... Every truck is different but you have to fail back hard after a 3.4 0-60 to get 13.0.

Peace,

sorry guys thats a typo guess I need to start proof reading. still not to bad for a stock truck, with 27,003 miles <---- not a typo

Mid 3 60 shouldnt be a big deal. I think it would take an 11.5 in the 1/4 to get that kind of performance.

Just went and did a test and then edited the post

I did three runs with a Gtec 3.3 3.2 3.3 in that order. I really dont think the 0-60 is real accurate

Yeah, that 0-60 time seems too quick for a 13-second pass. I rip off consistent G-Tech times between 3.9-4.0 and I'd bet my left nut I'm running in the high 12's. Anything under 4 seconds and you pretty much own 99% of the cars on the street from light to light :D

My G-Tech gave me 4.71 and 4.77 on my stock Sy with quarter mile times at 13.54 and 13.78. Believable.

From my experience with G-Tech's...they are accurate for me with 1/4 mile times but not with MPH. Usually 2-3 MPH off but time is dead on (give or take a couple hundreths) when compared to timeslips. I've had mine for 3 1/2 years.

I agree,

I have taken mine to the track and it did very well. My mph was 3-5 off but the et was always within a 10th

I do however think the 0-60 on some are fudged a little.

Re: Ran a 13.034 3.4 0-60

The original G-Techs were only able to read a 1.0 G force launch which our trucks can exceed fairly easily.

The Pro Unit was supposed to get an upgraded accelerometer with a wider range.

I have about as much faith in G-Tech as I do the datamaster calculator.

They are useful to compare before and after mod numbers, but not so fair to compare trucks in different states ran with different units. You want times you can quote go to a track.
