I was driving up east main street in my home town. 2 lane road going uphill. I was at a stop light in the right lane when a young kid in a late model passat or jetta I am not sure. pulled in the left lane.. I didnt look over at that time because when ever I look over its seems someone wants to race. I am not into racing really because there is a cop on every corner when I am around.eh. Well the light turns green and I go, 1/4 throttle as if I was driving normal , aand to the left I hear this VW screaming. I look over and thats when I see the kid looking over at me. The motor was screaming and we were doing the same speed.???? Then he lets off the gas and we are neck and neck. Mind you I am driving like my grandfather. Maybe he didnt know how to shift, But anyway we are going uphill neck and neck so to get out of this kids Mojo I floor it. WAIT !!! I am not going anywhere. All of a sudden I am creaping sideways as if I were on ice sliding. Now I cant hear anything because of the rain and a faint exaust Then my wheels hook up and almost lose it trying to straighten out. But I will tell you my truck runs good on rainy days. NO knock ping anything. I swear when my tires finally hooked up I was doing 80 in 3 secs. He was about an 1/8th mile back
I spun all 4 tires for at least 4 secs . I thought my motor died because I couldnt hear it. I wonder what tht kid thought. My friend cant even chirp his blazer in the rain 4wd
