Even living in a metropolis, I couldn't find anyone to mix any of those old formulas. I went to Harbor Frieght and got the airbrush compressor kit and went to an art supply store. Got water based colors and started mixing and test shooting. With the help of my very artistic mother, we added metallic glitter to even give that slight sparkle. Damn close match. While building 'X-Cab Sy', I didn't want to 'steal' any super nice parts that could be used for a restoration on a true Sy/Ty. Plus I could convince the 'ex' for putting in repair time on defective parts instead of paying premium for almost new stuff. It took awhile but got it pretty close, and matt or satin cleared to protect paint. Fixed my old scratched radio bezel and a Ty Cluster bezel, and glove box and ash tray while painting. Inset the alarm light at the same time in the radio bezel. Either you pay for it with cash or sweat equity, but it's what you want at the end is what matters. C.
