Hi everyone, I just got home from racing my truck on the street for the first time. I drove uptown today to fill up my Ty with some 94 octane. All the fast cars go to this gas station to get gas. I pull in and see a 1989 mustang sitting there and the guys is just staring at me. So I pull up and start to fill up. Know what is on my mind? O yes i am ready to see how my Ty will do againt this mustang. He got done filling up before me so i hurried up and filled my truck. He pulled out onto the main road and got stuck by a red light. So I ran in to pay and then ran back to my Ty so I can go catch back up with him. When i got out on the street he was still at the light so I pulled up behind him. He is sitting there reving it up. The mustang sounded very healthy. After following him for a few light I finally could get next to at a light. I ask him if he would like to run them. He said sure why not. So I follow him for a country road. I am kinda worried because my IC temp in like 170 degrees. So we found are spot to run them and i pull up next to him. I staged and waited for him to go first. When i heard his tires spinning i took on with 11 pound of boost. I know it was a little to much. I pulled away from him very fast and shut it down around 85 mph after having him by a good 6 car lengths. Then we stopped at the stop sign to chat and i followed him to a park to chat. He was very impressed by my truck. He had headers, flow master exhaust, engine work with new pistons with .30 over, K@n airfilter..... He said he never been beat by another mustang before. He also said he has 300+ hp. He just could not understand how I could get the little tires to hook up so well off the line. He thought it was 2 wd. And before I left the park he said he will run me again when he gets more stuff done to him mustang.
