Raced 2 chicks in a C5 Vette 6-speed

OK, tonight I was cruising around with my lady friend in the Sy looking for some action. Toasted a few cars like Prelude VTEC, Pontiac GTP, and some pud in a Ford Explorer. After an hour and a half we were about to cut our losses and head home when I saw a shiny new silver C5 go by. I maneuvered through traffic and caught up to the C5 at the next light but I was behind another car and the Vette had pole position. When the light turned green I waited until I had an opening and dropped the hammer and started catching up to the Vette when I heard it open up. I walked it no problem since I caught the driver off guard and, to my delight, we both caught a red light. So the Vette rolls up next to me and I look over and two chicks are driving and smiling at me etc. I knew it was on but like a dumbass I was too busy gawking to boost up or lock my TC and ended up doing a roll on from the light. She got a slight jump on me from the light and I just pushed my foot to the floor as hard as I could and kept it there. My passenger was yelling "beat her!," "beat her!" and I was giving it all I had. Basically the Vette had me by a half a carlength from a standstill up to 80mph or so until she shut it down. We diced it up a little more in traffic and then she turned off. I was so pissed at myself for not boosting up with 10psi like I usually do :sad: I'm totally stoked that I gave a brand new LS1 Vette 6-speed a run like that. I was running 91 octane with just a little Xylene left over in the tank so I'm sure I had some knock retard but my truck is running VERY strong, especially in this cold dense weather. My Sy is still basically stock except for Walbro 255, Jabsco, air foil, FPR@45psi, Kenne Bell cold air, IC scoop, and a few other things. Can't wait to do more mods and toast some Vettes, he he. We'll excuse the driver error based on the distraction. :razz: Granted they aren't all performance mods. I got a $10,000 Cdn. quote from the engine builder for my Syclone though yesterday and its longer...that's just the motor.

I like all the mods so far but ditch the fram oil filter. they're crap. Next time dont let your penis drive and you'll be okay. :grin:
