Why is a Skyline without a motor any different than getting a "kit" car and giving that a vin.

Just a thought, I'm not 100% sure how the whole kit car works either but I know I've seen plenty of those around.

I've thought of that ^ before, but it still boils down to someone taking an existing car that is not legal here and trying to make it legal. Motorex did it for some 1995(?) R33's, but that only applies to the 50 or so (IIRC) that they imported.

Funny that the article mentions Typhoons. I though Motorex was out of business long ago...thanks for the great read :tup:
