quick trans cooler install ?

Just installing a B&M super cooler and braided lines.

When installing the 1/2" to -6 fittings into the cooler, should I use teflon tape on the threads, or just install and tighten?

I thought AN fittings didn't require teflon.....however I would wait for confirmation as I am not 100% sure

i just used teflon tap on the npt threads on the adapters , but nothing on the line end.
