quick throttle cable question

im wanting to switch over to the newer styly throttle body on my TPI, that i believe that the SyTy cable will work for me. i was wondering if someone could measure their cable. i need total length, and the length from the cable bracket, to where the cable ends(throttle closed). for some reason, GM likes to slip little suprises like this and i will end up w/o WOT. thanks for anything you guys can get me, Jim.

Your best to buy a Lokar. Stock cable is ~24" long though.

thanks.if i can still get the GM piece, id just assume go that route. i've baught too much aftermarket stuff, only to find the GM part was better, cheaper, ect. thanks for the reply though.

I went with a lokar myself as the gm isn't available as far as I know. Had to tweak the pedal side of things, but it worked fairly well otherwise.

figured as such. LMC used to carry a cable for sytys. i wonder what the quality is like one those? sorry to carry on, im just kinda anti-billet.
