Question on Kenne Bell Cold Air Filter Cleaning

For the Kenne Bell CAI filter, I could use your advice on how to clean the filter and what are some replacement filter options. The KB instructions say the filter is Polyester and can be washed with detergent and water + be blow dried with an air hose. Is this correct? Anyone care to share what they did to clean it or replace it with a new filter?

It's like a K&N... soap and water cleanup, blow it out with compressed air.

I just used the k&n filter cleaning kit on mine. Spray the cleaner on, let it soak for 10 minutes, rinse from the inside out. Let it dry for a few hours and then sprayed the oil on it. But the filter looks a little past its life, if anybody knows a k&n that replaces it please post it up.
