QUESTION on Half-shaft Spindle Nut

I'm in the process of replacing axles with the A1 Cardone P/N 60-100 lifetime warranty ones. Did the driver side...as I was about to install the passenger one I (FINALLY) :roll: noticed that the ORIGINAL FINE-THREAD nut won't thread onto the New COURSE-THREAD half-shaft spindle !:evil: WTF? I shoulda took a better LOOK prior to bringin' 'em home from checkers.

WILL THE CORRECTLY SIZED HALF-SHAFT NUT BE FOUND AT MOST AUTO PARTS STORES??

i have found replacement nuts at the auto parts store numerous times.

Checker's gotta order 'em and NAPA has one in their warehouse. I plan on swapping the New/Reman. course thread one with a fine thread one later today. Gotta wait for transportation though :roll:

I had found one at NAPA on that Sunday. Its a self locking type and its long enough that it actually covers cotter-pin hole of axle-shaft. :roll:
