Putting dr's on back. One inch difference from front.

I'm planning on going to the track this weekend to try out the new turbo. I have a set of bf dr's mounted on a set of rear wheels waiting for the front's to get done. I am too anxious though and my tires won't be here in time so i want to put these on. I measured them and when they are mounted on the wheel with full air pressure they stand 25" tall where the rims and tires i have on the ty now are 24" tall. Will this mess anything up with the awd or anything?

Not if you remove the propshaft.

I wouldn't recommend running with that much difference.

My ass. Look at it.
I dont think it would be a very good idea, kinda like running a posi rearend with different sized tires. the front diff. is same ratio as rear, so it might digest your AWD t-case.

ya I dont think u care fix it or even get it close enough by letting the air down. if you do it will be so low, it'd be scary to drive at speed.
just wait until u get the same sizes matched up.

Just like everyone said, I wouldn't do it. Will ruin transfer case in short order. I also agree with Tyrodd, never put a space saver spare on the rear of a posi traction rearend car/truck. Burns the clutches up in no time flat. Friend of mine has a 5.0 stang and had a rear flat, put on a space saver and drove it about 15 miles before fixing it. Rearend was junk, would no longer leave 2 marks on a burn out. Needed new posi unit. Don't know why the big three put posi rearends in there autos and then supply the cars with space saver spares, pretty dumb if you ask me. Guess people would rather have there space, Go figure.
Just a quick side note on 4 wheel drives. Another friend of mine had a jeep wagoneer, changed the rear gear ratio, didn't think about the front. (What a goof ball) When it came time to use the 4 wheel drive he had trouble getting it to shift into 4 wheel, when he finally did he drove it a while and when it came time to pull it out, it was jammed, absolutely would not come out, had to remove the driveshaft to relieve pressure, then found out the transfer case was toast. Pretty silly, Larry.
