PTE CatCon restricting ?

Getting Ty started after massive rebuild. Conley is noticing a possible restriction in the exhaust limiting boost. When he opens the dump on the PTE 3" DP, he can get over 20 #, but when the exhaust is hooked back up, can't get over 12-13 #. He's checking MAP also.

The CatCon is a shortie and should be low restricting. It was part of the PTE Turbo/DP/Catcon pkg that we had a GP on a few years ago. May have to replace Cat back. Anyone have a problem w the PTE Catcon being restrictive ?

What's everyone using for aftermarket exhaust ? TIA.

may also be a clogged muffler possibly from your previous cat falling apart.. definately sounds like you got a restriction somewhere post dump though. typically the 3" in/out cat pte sells flows decent.
