PST and KYB Shocks

I am thinking about making order for these as my Ty really needs shocks and could use some suspension work.

I did a search and someone mentioned not to use a pickle fork style Ball Joint seperator, because it will ruin the seal and I will need to reuse it in the PST kit. What would I use instead?

Lower Ball joint have aready been replace so no rivets.

Does PST make idler and pitman arms for our truck?

How about the rear suspension, it clunks away when on a bumpy road. Should I replace the leaf spring bushings, does PST sell them? Someone mention they were hard to replace but I didn't see anything else. Beside the spring mounts and shock is their anything else that would cause my truck make noises?

Any Complaints with the KYB shocks, they seem to be a reasonable shock for someone on a budget.

Truckless. For now.
The previous owner of my Ty had $1000 of front end work done to mine before I bought it, and in the process went with KYB's. I really like them. I'm happy with the ride quality, and I think my truck handles in the twisties on par, if not better than my Corvette did, of course there's also an Attco? Addco? Shoot, can't remember now, anyway, there's a rear sway bar which helps in the twisties, but around town the KYB's suit me just fine.

IF IT HELPS ANY I HEARD THAT THE EDELBROCK IAS SHOCKS ARE PRETTY GOOD. AND ATR MAKES A REALLY BEAFY REAR SWAY BAR, THAT TOO COULD HELP IN THE CORNERING DE[ARTMENT.

Cascading Inspiration
There are two models of KYB shocks.. I'd go with the monomax version if you can spring the extra money.

as far as idle/pitman arms.. buy moog parts for a s10 4x4.

The pst kit comes with ball joints and everything.. so a fork will work fine, as their entire kit comes with all you'll need.

Someone does make another seperator that is basically a jaw with a threaded bolt that opens the jaw (hence pressing two objects away from each other). I havent used it, so it may or may not work in our application.

Run KYB Monomax shocks on my Sy. Ride is fine! Couldn't believe how shot my Bilsteins were after 50K+ miles. Plus, the Monomax shocks are red. So, they look nice tucked under the Sy (keeps with the black, grey, red theme).
