why not go with an LSx motor?

wouldnt a 46G3 swap be way cheaper per horsepower while being lighter?

Personally i think the 4.3 swap is a bad idea.

Cool looking swap in to that yellow car... I'd have to throw out the Sy/Ty IC as that's the first peice I throw out of our trucks. The rest looks great. :)

the SBC and 4G63 swap has been done to death.....looking for something a little different.

as for cost per horsepower, not much of a difference. i know of no other Starquest with the 4.3 turbo....;-)

hell that intake and fuel injection setup in that yellow car probably cost well over grand by itself..

If you want to be different, swap a Diesel in there and boost the crap out of it.

Id consider a VQ35 before a syty setup if I was hell bent on a v6 and being different. Different cost bucks by the way.

trying to figure out my best option on the oil pan. once i get past that it should be smooth sailing. ;-)

Have you looked at a pan for the 2wd s10. Check to see if that will work. :)
