Problem getting truck to stay running

make my msd box act like it is going bad??

I just took the truck out of storage at the beginning of the week and it seem to be fine. This weekend I decided that I would finally mess around with some code59.

Friday:
Start the truck and get tunerpro and the ostrich all setup and working. Get the truck up to operating temp and everything looks good and is working just fine. Load code59 and the truck wont start. It will crank catch and die. Finally notice that after it does this the light on the msd box is going out. Now I turn the key off turn it back on and the light for the msd comes back on but the truck does the same thing. So I put the old code back into the truck and have the same problem. So at this point I am :steamer: !!!! So I let the truck sit till saturday

Saturday:
Go out after sitting all night and the truck fires and runs like a champ again. So I try my luck again with the new code. Load it and the truck will run now. The tune is off but I knew that would be the case. So I reload the old code back in so I can go cruise and not worry about the tune and everything is fine.

Today:
Starting the truck up and decided to switch back to code59 for good. While the truck is running I upload the new code to the ostrich and the truck dies. Wont start! Same problem as friday truck will crank catch and die. Same thing with the msd box after cranking and dieing the light goes out. So now I sit in the truck and once the truck catches I give it some gas to keep it alive and it will run as long as I give it a little throttle. Once I let it idle it dies. So once again I switch back to the old code to make sure and its the same problem wont stay running.

Any ideas??

Fuel pump or module is my guess...

The modules will act funny before they completely die. The cold start/warm no start is what Ive experienced with a dying module :)

I would say the fuel pump is still good since I still have the correct pressure during crank and also while the truck is running. Plus I tried to clean the connector on the ignition module today and when I took my intercooler pipe off I could smell raw gas in the manifold.

I forgot to put in also that at one point I took the msd out of the loop of the ignition and the truck still did the same thing of cranking and dieing

let the truck sit for almost 2 hours now. It started and drove fine then I reuploaded my bin to change the idle and now it does the same thing of not starting.

Maybe the ostrich is going bad or needs batteries???
