Pretty sure my rear blocks are 1". The front is as low as it will go on the stock torsion bar setup.

26 front 27 rear
Bigtimes angled blocks in the rear, torsion bar front.I think its perfect with stock wheel tire setup.

For performance vs. looks, I would suggest only go as low as necessary. That means allowing enough wheel travel, and don't go so low as to affect suspension geometry causing increased bump steer. Also keep in mind if you go too low you may bottom the frame out on speed bumps in parking lots.

Re: Preferred Ride Height Pole......

i like'em as low as they can go and as soon as i can afford a set of wheels that will tuck in my wheel wells i'm gonna figure out how to bag my ty, until then i cranked down the torsion bars just as low as they'd go and used three inch blocks to bring it to lvl. i got less than an inch between my tires and cladding and the ride is rough but oh well i'm used to since i used to drive a two wheel blazer with a 5/6 on it.
