Adam is probably trying to sell everything he owns right now
Who's in for joint ownership? $10k per ticket??
funny, I was thinking the exact same thing.... but then I was thinking about the headaches of ownership later on, lol
Long story made short.....Michael Jordan owned this truck in 1997 and had driven it to the Bulls gym one day in August for team practice. I was there teaching some of the guys some moves and Jordan asked me if I wanted to play 1-on-1. Knowing how much he loves to gamble and how much I love SyTys, we bet that I'd get to drive the truck if I won (he would get to say he beat me if he won - I was kind of a big deal back then). Anywho, I beat him 21-9 and we went for a spin. Lost control at a buck-eighty when a cat ran out in front of us and I hit a lightpole with the back end. Jordan was cool about it and paid for all the repairs, but the truck got the salvage title and he sold it back to GM shortly thereafter. Why does it list the vehicle title as "salvage"?
It also could become the Syclone fanny pack and travel to various regional Sy/Ty meetings and of course nationals.
Most people don't know about this....
:rotf: A buck eighty?? There's where your story falls apart.
Or it could be that it's a heavily modified one-off once owned by a manufacturer, never intended for use on the street or production, and like many "proto-types" is somehow protected by a salvage title.
I think alot of the vehicles that came out of the GM Museum had a scrap title as most were prototypes or pre-production cars. This was not obviously but maybe because of the strobes and fuel system modifications they just scrapped the title.
As the description says issued a scrap title by GM
