stance is perfect. I have those same wheels, and had them painted to match the cladding. Looks better IMO.I also went with the Corvette lugs with plastic covers ( painted them too) Looks like you still need to cut the shaft to fit the center cap too.

Been sitting a long time still runs just needs a few things including a good detail!

Took it to the local car show/cruise.

It's the first time my wife had driven it.
Needless to say, she loves it.

We had quite a few people walking through asking questions and the usual, "haven't seen one of these in YEARS!".
The custom S10 crowd was there and they were really interested. That was cool.

finally has wheels and suspension back on it, now time to turn it around and put it back to its normal position on jackstands so the rear can come out..:rotf:

Installed some better tires for traction. Put one of the front driver side arches on I got from the previous owner. I put these clear corners on too just to see if I even liked it.. I think it looks good with the clears.

Finished a bunch of work on the Ty today. Took it for a test drive, made it 3-4 blocks from my house and:


The power wire from alternator to battery cooked itself. Everything went dead, pulled over, smoked pretty bad, a little bit of fire along the wire. Luckily I had a fire extinguisher in the truck. Have to get a new one now.

Well - I am not suppposed to see that..... But where did you got and (what are) the light covers?

That was at AutoFair, Charlotte Motor Speedway. I made the covers for the fog lights and turn signals from a sheet of smoke plexiglass. The headlight covers are so old I can't remember....ACS or ASC or something like that. Some 3 letters.
