From the car show yesterday in Blue Bell, PA. Absolute PERFECT weather, amazing bunch of cars (mostly muscle, rods and modern muscle :tup
Yeah, looks good from 20 feet but can't wait for a new paint job on this truck: (btw, that's three applications of Back to Black)
Every show I hear a story "I have one of these" or "I used to have one of these" or "My buddy has one of these". This show, I heard:
1. "I used to have one of these...got it from a woman who's husband died and it was just sitting there. I offered her $5,000 and she took it. Sold it about 6 years ago with 60,000 miles."
2. "Got a buddy who's building a '32 coupe (or something like that) and putting a Typhoon drivetrain in it..."

Was @ a show with my XGT yesterday and heard a guy talking to his buddy about my truck when he was walking up to the front of it. "Yea, they made an suv and called it a 'Typhoon'. The pickup was called the 'Hurricane'. They were pretty fast back then. This one looks really nice." Then they walked around it and saw the SoGT decals on the side & tailgate. Then he says "Huh... ok it isn't called a 'Hurricane'." I chuckled under my breath.
I took 'Best in class' for 90-99 trucks.

Drove down to the NASA side of Edwards after work after the Shuttle landed. This was as cloese as I could get:

God no. Not again. At least not to my knowledge. It's still not back up and running from being stolen over a year ago. lol. I think it's actually all set to go now, just have to find some time to get up to L'Ville.
If anything major happens to this truck after this, it will be able to be picked up for cheap from an insurance auction because I'm either torching it or putting it in the bottom of Percy Preist Lake.

Loaded for the ET finals in Bakersfield. Leave Thurs. AM. Should be fun. Neither the trailer nor the Denali are mine. On loan from my "sponsor." No money involved, they just let have some very nice unused shop space. And the Denali & trailer once a year for this. Last year was Las Vegas.
