Motor has been detonated badly, bearing #'s are now stamped into rods.
Main bearings in middle on block side are the worst, they all show signs of bearing crap going through them obviously.
The balance job on crank looks like someone took a shit on it. I don't trust it at all. New crank time which is ashame as this crank is still standard.
Flex plate bolt was stripped, not a sign of loctite on any of them.
Instead of modding the oil pan to clear the rods they ground half the head off the rod bolts. Those bolts are now scrap, #2 where did all the grinding metal go?
With those things being hacked IMO, i don't trust the align bore either and plan to have block magnafluxed for cracks just to be safe there also.
Whoever stole it no doubt beat the crap out of it due to obvious signs of detonation.

If they built it wrong the first time, will they not honour the obvious errors?

Dunno if they would or not. But they aren't touching the motor again even if they offered to.
Doubt there is much, if any, recourse that could be about hacking shit like that, other than the complaint I will file with the BBB and ensuring that my review of their work is plastered all over the internet.
